Introducing Le Sirenuse Restaurant & Champagne Bar
Read the original articlePOSITANO and MIAMI may be separated by roughly 8,500km, but from a social standpoint there's more than unites them than meets the eye, with each playing host to a formidable roster of tastemakers during their respective seasons. Now there's a formal connection between the two, courtesy of Antonio and Carla Sersale, owners of Positano's perennially elegant Le Sirenuse. This month they are opening Le Sirenuse Restaurant and Champagne bar in Miami Beach's storied The Surf Club - itself lately reimagined by Fort Partners' Nadim Ashi, together with architect Richard Meier, as a luxury complex that will eventually house a Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, comprising the original 1920s clubhouse and two ethereal glass towers. In the restaurant - situated in the old building - team Sirenuse will keep things thoroughly Positanese, with all chefs trained in the kitchen of the hotel's Michelin-starred La Sponda, and many design signifiers its habitués will recognize, including the famous profusions of candlelight and gorgeous Carlo Moretti glassware glancing the tables.
